Overview

  • Universal cuff, including for larger upper arm circumferences up to 42 cm
  • Average of all saved measured values
  • Cuff position control

How To Use

Prepare the device

  •       Set the date and time: Press and hold the “SET” button (~5 seconds) if needed, then use “–/+” to select 12h/24h, then set year, month, day, hour, minute.
  •      Ensure the device and cuff are at room temperature before measurement.

Attach the cuff correctly

  •         Place the cuff on the bare upper arm (left or right), not over clothing.

  •         Position the lower edge approx. 2–3 cm above the bend of the elbow, with the tube pointing over the artery toward the centre of the palm.
  •         Tighten the cuff so that you can still slide two fingers under the cuff, and ensure the “OK” mark (or index) lies within the correct range.
  •         Plug the cuff tube into the device’s cuff connector. Use only the original cuff supplied (arm circumference 22-42 cm).

Adopt the correct posture

  •  Sit comfortably with back supported, legs uncrossed, feet flat on the floor.
  • Rest quietly for about 5 minutes before measurement.
  • Support the arm such that the cuff is at about heart level. Avoid talking or movement during the measurement.

Take the measurement

  •        Press the START/STOP button to begin. The cuff will inflate automatically, then deflate.
  •        During measurement you may see a cuff-position control icon; if the cuff is fitted too loosely/tightly the device will abort and show an error.
  •        When completed, the display will show: systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse; plus risk-category indicator (according to WHO) and arrhythmia warning if detected.
