How To Use

Initial preparation

  • Remove the plastic insulating strip from the battery compartment before first use.
  • The device comes with batteries installed and will power on after removing the strip.
  • Allow the thermometer to acclimatize to the room where you’ll use it for at least ~30 minutes.

Setting up

  • Power on by pressing the power button (~1 second). A self-test runs with all segments displayed momentarily. Two beeps indicate readiness.
  • On first use or after battery change, you’ll be prompted to set: language, volume (speaker), temperature unit (°C/°F), date & time.
  • To toggle the voice output on/off: switch the device on, then press the Set button; the speaker symbol shows status.
