How To Use

Forehead (Body) Mode

  • Hold the thermometer 2‑3 cm away from the centre of the forehead (above eyebrows) with the measuring sensor pointing at the measuring point.
  • Press and hold the SCAN / Start‑Measurement button. While measuring you may hear short beeps; when the final long beep sounds (or display stops blinking) the measurement is complete.
  • The result will display body temperature. A “fever” symbol appears if the temperature is ≥ 38.0 °C (~100.4 °F).

Surface Mode

  • With the thermometer switched on, press the MODE/MEM button briefly to switch to object/surface temperature mode (symbol appears on display).
