Initial Setup

• Place the scale on a flat, firm, level surface (not on carpet or uneven flooring) for accurate measurement.
• Make sure any transport locking device or protective tab (if present) is removed.

Setting the Zero

• If the pointer is not exactly at “0” when there’s no load, use the zero‑adjust dial (if available) to align the pointer to zero.

Weighing Yourself

• Step carefully onto the scale platform with both feet evenly placed.
• Stand still and upright, looking forward.
• Read your weight from the dial once the pointer settles.
• Step off gently.
