How To Use

  • Clean your hands with soap and warm water or use an alcohol swab. Dry completely.
  • This helps ensure accuracy and prevents infection.
  • Remove the cap from the lancing device.
  • Insert a new lancet.
  • Twist off the protective cap from the lancet.
  • Replace the lancing device cap and set the depth level. 
  • Insert the test strip into the Gmate Origin meter. 
  • The device will automatically turn on when the strip is inserted correctly.
  • Use the lancing device to prick the side of your fingertip.
  • Gently squeeze or massage the finger to get a small drop of blood.
  • Touch the drop of blood to the edge of the test strip (not on top).
  • The meter will beep or show a signal when it has enough blood.
  • The Gmate Origin meter will display your blood glucose reading in a few seconds.
