Prepare the device & cuff

• Insert the required batteries or connect power if applicable.
• Ensure your arm circumference fits the cuff (usually 22‑32 cm for the standard cuff) and the cuff is the original one supplied.

Attach the cuff correctly

• Sit comfortably with your back supported and your feet flat on the floor.
• Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm (not over a thick sleeve) so that its lower edge is about 2–3 cm above the bend of your elbow.
• The tube from the cuff should run down the inside of your arm (along the artery) and align with the centre of your palm when your arm is relaxed.
• Fix the Velcro so the cuff is snug, but not too tight — you should be able to slip two fingers under t
